2012 Track North Membership Fees
Notes:
i. For insurance purposes, all athletes must have a completed 2012 Athletics Ontario Membership Form (found at: www.athleticsontario.ca) and membership fee cheque at their first practice.
ii. Membership Fees do not include the cost of your indoor track membership at Laurentian University – contact the Active Living Department at LU for information – ask for the “Track North” rate.
iii. Full Year and Seasonal Memberships include the Athletics Ontario registration fee (a $60-$120 value depending on age group).
iv. Please make cheques payable to “Track North”.
1. Full Year Membership (January 1st to December 31st) - $320
• This includes your AO membership/insurance and subscription to the online Athletics magazine
• Full year training plan and coaching at supervised practices – 3 days per week (with usual breaks at end of August (2-3 weeks and December 1-2 weeks)
• Access to TNOR newsletters, Facebook page and club website.
2. Seasonal Memberships
• Winter/Spring Season: January 1st to June 10th (Indoors, Spring/High School Season) – $200
• Summer + Fall Season: June 11th to December 31st (Summer Track Season, Fall Training + Cross-Country) –$200
3. Short-Term Membership - $50 per month*
*Note – Athletes that purchase a short-term membership and wish to compete at an Athletics Ontario sanctioned meet are responsible for paying for their AO Competitive Athlete Membership ($55-$90 depending on age group).
Fundraising
As always, we look for your support in assisting the club with its fundraising efforts. Your involvement in these fundraising events is what allows us to keep our membership costs the lowest in the province. Please let us know if you can assist (no experience necessary!) at any of the following events:
- Laurentian Blackfly Relays – Date TBD (either Saturday, April 28th or Sat. May 5th)
- Concession sales at the spring elementary/high school track meets at LU (several
weekdays in May and June)
- Bobcat Development Program – early May to late June
- Firecracker Road Race – Lively – Sunday, July 1st
- Laurentian XC Challenge Meet - Thursday, Sept 27th

Indoor Training Fees
Indoor training takes place at the Laurentian University indoor track. You'll need to purchase a facility membership in addition to your club membership in order to use their facilities.
Below is information on location and fees. These fees represent a significant discount, so be sure to register in the business office (to the left as you enter the doors) and be sure to say you are with Track North!
1. Location
The indoor track is in the Physical Education Building, across the street from the outdoor track. The entrance is the one of the left as you face the building. You'll see the equipment/membership counter as you enter.
We meet upstairs on the track, in front of the storage room doors (there's a bulletin board with our workouts on it, on the wall there).

3. How to Sign Up
You'll have to go into the business office (to the left as you enter the door) to get these discounts - they may not know what you're talking about at the desk! The office is open until 4:30.
If you can't get to the indoor track before 4:30, go to the desk, fill out an application form and get your picture taken (leave the form at the desk). You can then process payment via phone during business hours, 9am to 4:30pm
4. Students Under 15 Years of Age
Elementary school athletes (under 15) would normally have to be part of a family membership to use the facility, but you can participate as a member of Track North, (without a family membership). Be sure to say you are with Track North.
Note: Students under the age of 15 aren't allowed to use the weight room.

- 6 months: $172.28 (discounted price)
- Youth Day Pass: $5.50 per day (track/swim/gym use only)
- Youth Day Passes: 10 passes, $50.00 (track/swim/gym use only)
- Full Day Passes: As above, also including weight room and squash, $109.75
